Speech contest held to boost corporate morale

Some 16 staffs members from Guiyang Industrial Development Holding Group Co shared their unforgettable workplace stories and expressed their love for the company during a speech contest on July 27.

Established in August 2019, Guiyang Industrial Development Holding Group is the first non-financial state-owned enterprise in Guiyang city and the sixth state-owned enterprise in Guizhou province to obtain the AAA credit rating.

It is the first time Guiyang Industrial Development Holding Group has organized such an event. The final round was held at the Guiyang International Conference & Exhibition Center and drew more than 200 audience members.

Finalists were screened from participants representing the company's headquarters and five other groups. Following the theme "Building the Chinese Dream Together -- Our Story," competitors shared their personal experiences and stories to express their love for the company and their determination to work for a better future.

The competition adopted a 100-point system. The judges scored their speeches on content, presentation skills, effects, time control and other aspects and selected first-, second- and third-place winners.

The Guiyang-based company said they would organize more successful activities in the future to enhance the friendships between associate companies further, improve corporate cultural cohesion and fully demonstrate the group's positive outlook.
